Cameron Williams: Charting a Course to Success with Flier Inspired

When Cameron Williams, a Supply Chain Management major at NC A&T, isn't busy navigating the complexities of his studies, you might find him running, bowling, viewing art, traveling, writing, or immersing himself in the soothing sounds of jazz. But Cameron isn't just another busy college student. He’s an author who published his first book, "20 Lessons in 20 Years," which sold over 1,000 copies—a testament to his charm, impactful nature, and creatively intelligent mind.

Discovering Flier Inspired: A Fortuitous Connection

Cameron's journey with Flier Inspired began during his sophomore year when he met Re’Onna Vines, the CEO of Flier Inspired, with a shared passion for growth and development. Their mutual quest for enhancing public speaking skills led to the birth of Flier Inspired. "When I met Re’Onna, I discovered she was a fellow entrepreneur, and my respect for her grew," Cameron recalls. Their collaboration deepened in their junior year, when Cameron sought her consultation services, finding her to be the ideal speaking coach due to his interactive learning style.

First Impressions: Surpassing Expectations

Cameron's initial experiences with Flier Inspired exceeded his expectations. "I expected quality sessions knowing Re’Onna, but she went above and beyond," he says. The sessions were filled with dynamic speech exercises, tailored learning materials, and a personal touch that made every moment valuable. These early encounters raised his expectations and fueled his excitement for future coaching.

Learning and Applying New Skills

Among the many lessons Cameron learned from Flier Inspired, two stood out: structuring his talks and defining his passion mantras. "Passion mantras are the core of how you perceive yourself, and refining them around my life and interests has paid off immensely," he explains. These insights have not only improved his speech structure but have also helped him align his daily activities with his core values. Whether in personal relationships, service projects, or professional meetings, Cameron now communicates with clarity and purpose.

Growth and Development: A Transformative Experience

The impact of Flier Inspired on Cameron's growth is evident in various aspects of his life. He highlights the improvement in his organizational skills and confidence in public speaking. "Before working with Re’Onna, I struggled with hand placement during speeches. Now, I balance animated movements with stability," he shares. This newfound confidence is a significant asset in his meetings and presentations.

Current Projects and Future Goals

Cameron’s journey continues to evolve. He recently joined GiveBLK Inc., a nonprofit aimed at uniting the Black Diaspora, and started a summer internship at Sam’s Club as a Merchandising Intern. The skills and insights gained from Flier Inspired are instrumental in these roles. "I use the techniques from my sessions to present information effectively to executives and senior merchants," Cameron notes.

Advice to Peers: Investing in Personal Growth

Cameron’s advice to his peers is clear: invest in yourself. "Re’Onna is one of the best young entrepreneurs I've met. Her dedication to her clients and her business is inspiring," he says. Cameron emphasizes the importance of seeking support and guidance for sustainable growth. "Be honest about your skills and commitment. Consistency will bring the results you seek. It's all about doing the work and making the investment," he advises.
